Director Takeshi Koike is coming back for another round with Lupin, and the latest feature officially has a title, release date and more. Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku is set to open in Japan on June 27, telling the tale of a mysterious, unmarked island on which a great treasure awaits. Once Lupin III and his cohorts arrive, though, they face numerous challenges.
The official theme song will be “The IIIrd Eye,” as performed by B’z. You can check out a sample along with footage from the film in the new trailer below.

Takeshi Koike directs, with Yuya Takahashi on the script, James Shimoji on music and Katsuhito Ishii as creative advisor. The film was first announced in December 2024.
