Earlier this month we got some fresh info for the See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime, and now more voice actors are getting in on the adaptation. The latest update has Saori Hayami joining the cast as Saito alongside Jun Fukuyama as Duke Abel.

You can see their respective character designs below.

The series will debut sometime later this year, though a more specific date hasn’t been released yet. It’s being made at Atelier Pontdarc with Kazuomi Koga of Rent-A-Girlfriend and Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible helming the project as director. The person handling the series scripts is Jukki Hanada, whose credits include Sound Euphonium and Princess Jellyfish. Credit for composing the music goes to Kana Utatane, known for working on Dead Mount Death Play. Sound direction is being taken care of by Jin Aketagawa of Kaguya-sama: Love is War and Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-.

The series started out as a manga series by Shinichiro Nariie. It’s being published in America by Yen Press, which gave this description for its plot:

See You Tomorrow at the Food Court Plot

Wada is an honor student who keeps to herself and has an air of mystery around her. Yamamoto is an intimidating fashionista with dyed blond hair and a shortened skirt. Though this unlikely duo seem to have nothing in common, it’s only during their daily meetings at the food court that they can be themselves!

The manga got its start on the website Comic Newtype in 2020. Mangaka Nariie is also known for doing the manga adaptation of the light novels Absolute Duo by Takumi Hiiragi-Boshi. This was done before the debut of See You Tomorrow at the Food Court.
