Following up on some earlier hero visuals, it’s time to turn the One-Punch Man season 3 focus over to a series of “mysterious beings.” That’s the subject of the latest villainous visuals, which specifically hone in on Monster King Orochi and Gyoro-Gyoro.
Both visuals are courtesy of the anime’s character designers. The Monster King Orochi visual comes from Ryosuke Shirokawa, while the Gyoro-Gyoro visual comes from Shinjiro Kuroda. Check both out below.
As previously reported, One-Punch Man season 3 is scheduled to premiere this October.
J.C. Staff is returning from season 2, with new character designer Shinjiro Kuroda on those duties alongside returning designer Chikashi Kubota and former Kyoto Animation key animator Ryosuke Shirakawa (Violet Evergarden: The Movie, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid). Tomohiro Suzuki is back on series composition and Makoto Miyazaki of [K]NoW_NAME is on music.
After starting as a webcomic, creator ONE joined forces with artists Yusuke Murata to work on a new digital and print version of One-Punch Man. VIZ Media releases the manga in English and describes it below.
Saitama started out being a hero just for fun. After three years of “special” training, he became so powerful that he can defeat opponents with a single punch. Now, alongside Genos, his faithful cyborg disciple, Saitama is ready to begin his official duties as a professional hero working with the Hero Association.
However, the frequency of monster appearances is surging and it increasingly appears as if the Great Seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth’s doom is coming true. In the midst of this crisis, the “hero hunter” Garou makes his own appearance.
