Rose
There’s more group cosplay coming in My Dress-Up Darling! This time, Wakana isn’t making Marin’s costume. For several reasons, she decides to buy a costume instead of making one, and she cosplays Rose from the visual novel Coffin. But don’t worry, Wakana is still there to help with the spooky makeup and some interesting props.
The Coffin story arc has some of the most beautiful artwork in the manga. The visual novel that inspires this cosplay is a murder mystery. Nuns are dying one by one in a convent. But why? The answer is shocking, especially for Wakana!

We don’t know if My Dress-Up Darling will get to the Haniel Arc in the second season, but we really hope it does! Haniel is an archangel from the in-series manga Heaven’s Will. This character captivates everyone who sees them, both in the manga and in real life! Marin asks Wakana to make this costume, and it becomes a personal challenge for him to recreate this heavenly character as accurately as possible.
Haniel and Heaven’s Will have a style similar to Yoshitaka Amano’s work. The story’s surreal nature, the fan following, and the design are reminiscent of Angel’s Egg. When Marin wears this cosplay to Comiket, she causes a huge sensation. Seeing Haniel, both in the series and as cosplayed by Marin, fully animated would be incredible!
