Good news for fans of prolific voice actor Fairouz Ai. The actor, maybe best known for her role as Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (and her love of said franchise) announced back in January that she would be taking a break from work after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Now Fairouz has announced via X that she will be returning to work. She also announced that she has switched talent agencies from Raccoon Dog to Mausu Promotion.
In a message to her fans, Fairouz wrote in part: “Your presence has been a great encouragement to me, as you have not rushed or pestered me about my return, but have simply waited for me kindly and sent me many heartfelt letters.”
Other Fairouz credits include Kikoru Shinomiya in Kaiju No. 8, Nao Umiyama in 365 Days to the Wedding; Gremory in Akuma-kun; Belle Lablac in Bye Bye, Earth; Power in Chainsaw Man; Delta in The Eminence in Shadow; Raelza in Handyman Saitō in Another World; Hibiki Sakura in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?; Sumire in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki; Masked Wonder in Magical Girl Raising Project Restart; Rinia Dedorudia in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation; Marguerite in My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer; Alisa in Pokémon Concierge; Slime in Ragna Crimson; Gawain in The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse; and Nelia Cunningham in The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess, among many others.
