Undead Unluck Final Volume Includes Multiple Epilogues

April 4 marks the launch of the final two volumes of the Undead Unluck manga. Yoshifumi Suzuki’s series came to an end in the pages of Shonen Jump magazine in January 2025, but there will be a little more to read in the 27th and final volume.

That’s because Undead Unluck volume 27 will include five epilogue chapters, starting with a chapter titled “unsung hero.” Newly drawn chapters were previously announced, but now we know how many there will be. Beyond that, we’ll have to read it for ourselves to find out more.

The manga first kicked off with a one-shot in January 2019, with the full serialized version debuting its first chapter the following January. Both the final 26th and 27th volumes hit Japan this month.

Undead Unluck also inspired a TV anime adaptation. Yuki Yase directs, with Hideyuki Morioka on character designs and Kenichiro Suehiro on music at anime studio David Production.

Here’s how VIZ Media describes the manga:

Undead Unluck Plot

All Fuuko wants is a passionate romance like the one in her favorite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her Unluck ability makes that impossible. But just as Fuuko hits rock bottom, Andy sweeps her off her feet—literally! Now she’s become Andy’s unwilling test subject as he works to find a way to trigger a stroke of Unluck big enough to kill him for good. However, when the pair discovers a secret organization is hunting them, it puts Andy’s burial plans on hold.
