This time around, Tatsuya Yoshihara—who previously helmed episodes 4 and 10 of the Chainsaw Man TV anime, as well as directing Black Clover—is on board to direct. Hiroshi Seko is back for the script along with character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama at MAPPA.
VIZ Media publishes the original manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Crunchyroll streams the Chainsaw Man anime and describes it like so:
Chainsaw Man Plot
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
